Drew Johnson

President

 

Drew Johnson is a Senior Associate of Trace Advisory Group. Now proudly serving as its President, Drew is in his fourth year as a member of the Phoenix Club of Jackson, and has also previously served as the Fundraising Chairman and the Co-Events Director. He is originally from Monroe, LA, where he graduated from St. Frederick High School in 2013. He received his B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Mississippi in 2017, and then earned his MBA from the University of Mississippi in May 2021. Drew now lives in Ridgeland, MS with his wife, Shay, their daughter, and their two dogs. He also currently serves as the Vice President of the Alumni Association of Chi Psi Fraternity at Ole Miss.

Hunt Coleman

Hunt serves on the Board of the Phoenix Club of Jackson as a Vice President of Sponsorships. Presently, he attends the Mississippi College School of Law and is a member of the Class of 2027. Hunt has previously worked as a Project Manager in the Public Education and Community Engagement (PEACE) division of the Mississippi Attorney General's Office where his work focused on expanding financial literacy in our state. Hunt is a 2020 graduate of the University of Mississippi, earning his MBA in 2021. 

Hunt grew up in the Jackson-Metro area, attending Galloway United Methodist Church and St. Andrew's Episcopal School. Hunt currently lives in Jackson with his long-time girlfriend, Laura.

Jason Hackett

Co-Events Director

 

Jason serves on the Phoenix Club board as a co-events director. Currently, he is an attorney at the Mississippi Office of the State Auditor. Jason is orignally from Kississimme, Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida, where he obtained a bachelor degree in Political Science. Following undergrad, Jason moved to Jackson where he attended Mississippi College School of Law, where he received a JD and a MBA. Jason is licensed to practice law in both Mississippi and Florida. In his free time, Jason enjoys hunting, playing golf, and fishing.

Isaac Ward

Co-Events Director

 

Issac Ward, currently in his third year as a Phoenix Club of Jackson member, serves as a Co-Events Director. A Greenville, MS native, he graduated from Alcorn State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. He graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in May 2020 and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar the following September.

Issac is currently an Associate Attorney at Tatum & Wade, PLLC. in Jackson, MS. Previously, he was a Staff Attorney for the Mississippi Administrative Office of Courts from 2020 to 2023. Issac also serves as a member of Jackson Young Lawyers division of the Mississippi Bar, the Magnolia Bar Association, the Capitol-Area Bar Association, and the Mississippi Association for Justice.

Noel Morgan

Membership Engagement

 

Noel Morgan has been an active member of the Phoenix Club of Jackson since 2022. This is his third year on the board. Noel is a Tupelo, Mississippi native. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi in 2019 and graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 2024. He now works for Simmons Consulting Firm as a Lobbyist.

Jordan Coopwood

Communications Director

 

Jordan Coopwood is a native of Cleveland, Mississippi, and graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2018 with majors in Real Estate and Marketing, where he held various campus positions including the Ole Miss Associated Student Body Senate. Upon graduation Jordan moved to Jackson to earn a Masters of Business Administration degree at Millsaps College where he served as a graduate assistant through its ELSEWORKS Entrepreneurship Program in 2019.

Jordan then moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked on Capitol Hill in the office of former Congressman Steven Palazzo, then to be a business and agriculture Legislative Aide for U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith.

In August 2022, Jordan returned to Mississippi to work for the government consulting firm, Ten One Strategies, where he serves as Director of Federal Affairs and travels to DC on a regular basis. He additionally lobbies on the MS state capitol. In his free time, Jordan enjoys hunting, reading, and following Ole Miss Athletics.

Dean Arnold

Dean serves on the Phoenix Club of Jackson board as the Co-Sponsorship Chair. Currently, he is the SOAR Director at Jackson Academy. In addition, he is enrolled at the University of West Alabama in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Dean attended Delta State University for his Undergraduate and Masters Degree. He was born and raised in the Capital City. Dean is engaged to Maddie Tisdale, DPT.
